American Society of Nephrology Kidney Week 2018 will be held in San Diego, CA from October 23rd-28th 2018 and CMIC, the largest CRO in Japan with end to end Pharmaceutical Value Creator solutions, will participate in this event.
The American Society of Nephrology (ASN) leads the fight against kidney diseases by educating health professionals, sharing new knowledge, advancing research, and advocating the highest quality care for patients.
Approximately 13,000 kidney professionals from across the globe join the Kidney Week 2018. Participants share their work, learn about the latest advances in the field, develop new collaborations, and listen to provocative exchanges between leading experts.
CMIC developed the world’s first diagnostic reagent to measure urinary L-type fatty acid binding protein (L-FABP), “RENISCHEM®”. L-FABP has the property that it can diagnose renal diseases resulted from tubular dysfunction with high precision. Completion of development of L-FABP, as a new early diagnosis item is expected to deliver intensive treatment to patients by its accurate diagnostic results of disease state and to lead to gradual reduction in the number of patients who are referred to dialysis treatment.
