CMIC HOLDINGS Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CMIC”; Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Chairman & CEO: Kazuo Nakamura) announce that we established CMIC VIETNAM COMPANY LIMITED (hereinafter referred to as CMIC VIETNAM), to launch consulting business in Vietnam. And CMIC VIETNAM starts the business from June 2015, as described below:
1. Purpose of establishment
In Vietnam, the economy develops greatly and as social environment changes, medical system and pharmaceutical governance varies rapidly. Under the circumstances and prospect future growth, also as part of expansion of Asian hub, we established our affiliated company CMIC VIETNAM.
At CMIC VIETNAM, we provide services such as introduction support of Japanese medicines, medical devices and supplements, also consulting service of healthcare business, for local healthcare related companies. In the future, we are going to develop the CRO and CMO businesses in Vietnam.
Hisao Matsubara, who is in-charge of Corporate Planning, Managing Executive Officer of CMIC HOLDINGS Co., Ltd., was assigned to be the representative of CMIC VIETNAM as of March 27, 2015.
